A priori diffusion-uniform error estimates for singularly perturbed problems: Midpoint-DG discretization

The paper deals with nonlinear convection-diffusion equation with dominating convection term. Discontinuous Galerkin finite element method is employed for discretization in space and the resulting system of ODEs is discretized by midpoint rule in time. The resulting scheme is analyzed and diffusion uniform a priori error estimates are derived.
